Direct Buy is ripping us off!

Direct Buy complaint
Is there anyone out there that has ever gotten out of this contract with this unethical company? Sadly, we went to an open house on Saturday, May 10th and, of course, was pressured by the notion that we'd never have this "money-saving" opportunity again. Unfortunately, I didn't see this complaint site before we foolishly signed on the dotted line at the Richmond store 2 days ago.

When I talked to the manager today to tell him I changed my mind, he was actully rude and pretty much said, "Too bad." Help! Is there anything we can do?

Who are you to state that someone is unethical. That is very judgmental, and on top of that, it implies that every one that works there is also unethical. My brother works there and he is very honest. If he thinks some one should not join he tells them. I think you should be careful when you talk about things you don't know.

Depending on the state you live in, there are a certain # of days you have during which you can cancel a contract. Usually, you have 5 days during which you can cancel a contract. You should be able to find this info on line. BEWARE. Anyone who tells you to sign a contract NOW is probably unethical. Direct Buy has a history of changing its name after numerous complaints to various states' Attorneys' General offices. Complain there, as well.
